It is operated by De-Risking Solutions Ltd, trading as Human-Ai.Institute, registered in England and Wales under company number 09900565. De-Risking Solutions Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Its registered office is 8 Quarles Park Road, Romford RM6 4DE, United Kingdom.

What personal data we collect

If you use the contact form, we collect your name, organisation and message, along with any contact details you include. If a newsletter sign-up or event registration is offered through this website, we collect the details requested in that form and your communication preferences.

How we use your data and our lawful basis

We use enquiry details to respond and manage correspondence. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in handling enquiries about the Institute and its work. If you sign up to a newsletter, we rely on your consent and you may withdraw it at any time. Where you register for an event or enter into an engagement with us, we use the information needed to take steps at your request or perform the relevant contract.

We do not add contact enquiries to marketing lists. We do not use personal data for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects.

How long we keep your data

Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to 12 months, unless it leads to an ongoing engagement or we need to retain it to meet a legal obligation. Newsletter details are kept until you withdraw consent or unsubscribe. Event registration details are kept for as long as needed to administer the event and any necessary follow-up, then deleted unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.

Who we share your data with

We share personal data only with service providers acting as processors on our instructions, including providers for website hosting, contact form handling and business email. They must protect the information and use it only to provide their services to us. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information if the law requires us to do so.

International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where a transfer requires a safeguard under UK GDPR, we use an applicable mechanism such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with any required transfer risk assessment. This website uses essential browser storage to remember the cookie choice shown in its banner. It does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Essential storage needed for the site to function is used without consent where permitted by PECR. You can clear browser storage through your browser settings.

Your rights

You may ask us to provide access to your personal data, correct it, erase it or restrict its use. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and request data portability where that right applies.
